Job DescriptionAs a Commercial Insurance Brokerage Manager, reporting to the Director of Client Solutions, you will provide exceptional client service to Gallagher's Select Clients. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic team to carry out a wide range of duties, including managing an existing portfolio of Commercial clients, driving the renewal cycle, handling day-to-day policy updates, building relations with insurers, and marketing policies.
Work Environment: Hybrid (Agile) - We enjoy the benefits of working remotely while collaborating and interacting with each other in the office.
Your Responsibilities- Support a designated portfolio of small, medium, and enterprise business clientele, playing the lead role in business retention and continually building upon customer relationships.
- Evaluate accounts at renewal, taking vital steps in placing coverage required by the client, re-marketing when necessary, adhering to binding authority set out by carriers.
- Respond to client inquiries quickly and efficiently, maintaining quick turnaround times for any actions required on behalf of the client.
- Recognize upselling and cross-selling opportunities, driving the creation of quality leads, working with Account Executives in binding the client.
- Consistently act to upgrade insurance market knowledge, staying ahead of new products and policy updates.
- Work with Account Executives on cross-selling opportunities and accessing resources within Gallagher.
- A solution-oriented approach has always allowed you to offer clients the most resourceful and innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to develop deep relationships with clients and build partnerships with colleagues quickly.

- Maintaining a keen eye for detail comes naturally and is a key part of your success in past roles.
- You're highly tech-savvy, with an ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
- 3 to 5+ years of Commercial Insurance Brokering experience is ideal.
- Knowledge of E&O, D&O, Cyber, MGA's, and secondary markets is considered an asset.
- CAIB, CIP, CRM, or other relevant certifications/designations are highly valued.
- An active and good-standing Alberta License and/or BC License is required.
- Knowledge of EPIC is considered an asset.
