Financial Planning Expert with Business Acumen

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Planning Consultant to join our team in Winnipeg, Canada. As a key member of the Personal and Commercial Banking division, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional financial planning experiences to our clients.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Financial Planning Consultant to support retail financial planners in the Manitoba/Saskatchewan/Nunavut and Western Ontario Region. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance on financial planning strategies, conducting life and financial discovery sessions, and presenting tailored advice to clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor financial planners on all aspects of the financial planning process, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding results.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing sound guidance on technical tax, estate, and financial planning ideas and strategies.
- Effectively communicate complex financial concepts to clients, including transitioning into retirement, investing through holding companies, and wealth transfer.
- Contribute to special projects, such as developing training programs and financial planning tools, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization.
- Deliver presentations to financial planners on various financial planning topics, promoting best practices and industry trends.
- Collaborate with other support roles to drive sales effectiveness, strategy, and communications.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you must possess a CFP, QAFP, or PFP designation, combined with strong business acumen and excellent communication skills. A passion for delivering exceptional client experiences and a commitment to ongoing learning and development are essential.
