Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our Corporate Channel team. This role requires the ability to provide proactive, outstanding planning and advice to clients, leveraging the IG Living Plan.

About the Role

This position involves working primarily remotely, with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues in region offices when needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering holistic financial plans that consider all aspects of the client's financial life, including short and long-term goals, tax, retirement, risk management, and estate planning.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that meet clients' needs and objectives.
  • IDentify opportunities to deepen relationships with existing clients while ensuring regulatory guidelines are followed.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Utilize digital tools and platforms to enhance efficiency and service levels.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in client-facing financial planning roles.
  • Mutual fund licensed or Securities licensed.
  • Strong relationship-building and sales skills, with a proven track record of achieving performance targets.
  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, business, economics).
  • LLQP and Provincial Licensing exam passed for Insurance or willingness to complete within first 60 days of employment.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including CRM and financial planning software.
