This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals in a fast-paced outdoor food preparation environment. As a Food Service Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and delivery
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff, including training and development
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and manage inventory levels
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock levels, and other key performance indicators
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Physical stamina to withstand the demands of working in an outdoor food preparation environment
Work Environment:

This role involves working in a noisy, outdoors environment with exposure to odors, wet/damp conditions, and hot temperatures. You must be willing to relocate to support the needs of our business.
