Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Babies 'N' Tos Daycare Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities and outings to local points of interest
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a daycare setting, caring for children from infancy to preschool age. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and organizational skills.
