Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to join our team at NorWest Community Health Centres. As a family physician, you will provide high-quality medical care to our patients in a fast-paced community health centre environment.

About the Role

This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary range of $175,000 - $225,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work 35 hours per week, providing medical services to patients in need. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical consultations and examinations to patients, making diagnoses and developing treatment plans as needed.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments, ensuring safe and effective use.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals.
Requirements
  • Degree in medicine from a recognized institution.
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP).
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Valid driver's licence for travel between clinics.
