Pest Control Technician Job Description

Bugs Heat Terminator is seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation, determining the type of treatment required, and preparing and spraying chemical mixtures on infested areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation
  • Determine type of treatment required
  • Prepare and spray chemical mixture on infested areas
  • Place and set traps to capture and remove animals
  • Install animal control barriers to keep animals off property
  • Clean out areas that harbour pests
  • Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation
Requirements:
  • Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Professionalism in customer service
Work Environment:

The Pest Control Technician will work in a variety of settings, including urban and rural areas, and will be required to climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures.
