Position Overview

As a Pest Management Specialist at Advantage Pest Control Inc., you will play a crucial role in maintaining a pest-free environment for our clients. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and addressing pest issues effectively.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and surrounding areas to identify signs of pest infestations.
  • Assess the type of treatment necessary for effective pest control.
  • Prepare and apply chemical solutions to affected areas.
  • Execute fumigation procedures in residential properties.
  • Set traps for the capture and removal of unwanted animals.
  • Install barriers to prevent wildlife from entering properties.
  • Clear out areas that may harbor pests.
  • Provide clients with advice on preventive measures against pest infestations.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Possession of a Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence is required.
Experience
  • A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
  • This is a permanent position.
  • Work hours are set at 35 hours per week.
  • Primary language of work is English.
