GOLD MARVEL CONSTRUCTION INC. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Work Environment:

As a Concrete Finisher, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to work at heights, in dusty conditions, and in a physically demanding role.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Dependability and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights.
