Job Title: Concrete Mason

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Mason to join our team at REGIONAL SEWER AND WATERMAIN LTD.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing concrete structures, including sewers and water mains. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and finish concrete structures, including sewers and water mains
  • Repair and resurface worn or damaged concrete sections
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in concrete masonry
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and bending
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures. The role will also require the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
