Job DescriptionShift Leader - Store Operations Specialist

As a Shift Leader at Stelfox Inc, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants during your shift. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by running great shifts in a self-sufficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Satisfaction: Execute the Manager-In-Charge Success Routine and ensure that all responsibilities under People, Customers, and Service are completed.
  • Team Member Management: Ensure that all Team Members complete their Shift Excellence tasks for their assigned position(s).
  • Store Appearance: Ensure that all employees present a neat, clean appearance and wear company uniform.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Personally demonstrate that customer needs are the highest priority, ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders, and resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Understand posted work schedules and report to work as scheduled, on time, in uniform, and ready to begin tasks.

Initiative and Energy: Take action without being told, go beyond what is simply required, and maintain a high activity level.

Developing People: Provide regular feedback to the RGM on the performance of Team Members, provide ongoing constructive and complimentary feedback, actively participate in the training of Team Members, and handle conflicts constructively.

Act Like an Owner: Assist Profit and Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor, oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times, and assist the RGM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times.

Job Requirements: Strong preference for internal promotion from Hourly Champion position, must be at least 18 years old, must pass background check criteria and drug test, must have reliable transportation, able to do basic business math, and able to stock shelves and coolers.

Additional Requirements: Able to oversee and manage subordinate employees, provide direction, sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry out trash containers, and place in an outside bin, and able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
