Job Overview

As a **Maintenance Mechanic** at **Cascades Canada ULC**, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our industrial machinery. This is a **permanent position** requiring a commitment of **42.5 hours per week**.

Qualifications
  • **Education**: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • **Experience**: A minimum of **3 to 5 years** of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any irregularities or malfunctions in machinery.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ascertain work requirements.
  • Repair or replace defective components of machinery.
  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
  • Utilize machining tools to fabricate necessary parts.
  • Prepare and adjust processing machinery for optimal performance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Monitor equipment for signs of wear and damage.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Organize and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Perform repairs and overhauls to comply with established standards and procedures.
