Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Starting Line Childcare Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities that foster their curiosity and creativity, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
  • Support children in developing good habits, including eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Prepare snacks and set up rooms for meals and rest periods.
  • Document children's progress and share observations with early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any challenges.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Relocation costs covered by employer.
