At Safariland Group, we are dedicated to providing exceptional support services to our locations and associates. The Operations Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in this effort.

This position is responsible for day-to-day operations, including administrative and facility duties to support the business.

  • Completes various tasks within the ERP system (AX Dynamics) for production, such as creating production orders, which requires close collaboration with Customer Care and Production Supervisors.
  • Supports the human resources department with employee training administration, new hire onboarding, filing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Provides data entry support, mailings, audits, and reconciliations to various departments.
  • Coordinates the Joint Health & Safety Committee program by scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and distributing them accordingly.
  • Greets visitors, ensures visitor logs are completed, assigns visitor badges, and tracks their return.
  • Responds to incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate person in a professional manner.
  • Maintains company phone lists, meeting room calendars, and mail slots.
  • Replenishes office and kitchen supplies, completes purchase requisitions, and maintains tidiness of the photocopy area and meeting rooms.
  • Picks up items from the local community as required and organizes catering needs.
  • Maintains respectful communication with colleagues and supervisory staff.
  • Fulfills the company's ISO Quality Policy and understands its impact on competitiveness and performance.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Office Administration certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar office administrative role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proactive approach, good organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, with strong keyboarding skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn other software programs.
  • Experience with AX Dynamics or other ERP systems considered an asset.
