As a research student with SE Health, you will play a crucial role in supporting our health services research project focused on 'Dying, Death, and Grief'. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in generating knowledge mobilization products that apply recent research findings into practice. This is an excellent opportunity to build your capacity in knowledge mobilization in the field of palliative care under the supervision of a nurse scientist.
\rThe successful candidate will have a graduate degree in nursing, social work, gerontology, health sciences, or health promotion. They should also have experience working in hospice palliative care and/or with people experiencing structural vulnerability. Furthermore, they should possess excellent problem-solving, creative thinking, and decision-making abilities, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\rYou will work closely with a nurse scientist to develop deliverables-focused workback plans and organize knowledge mobilization products with interested parties within the organization. Your participation in writing academic research conference abstracts, publications, and project grant outlines will also contribute to the development of the existing program of applied hospice palliative care research.
