About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our team at VG Professionals Ltd. as a Business Development Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products, develop marketing strategies, and implement business plans to drive growth and revenue.
  • Communications: Act as spokesperson for the organization, write and edit press releases, newsletters, and communications materials, and develop and implement communications plans.
  • Digital Media: Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions, and develop and implement digital media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Brand Management: Develop and implement brand management strategies to maintain and enhance the organization's reputation and image.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, facilitate access to community resources, language training, and skills training, and recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Support for Youths: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth, and provide support for their career development and advancement.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, and provide support for their career development and advancement.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees, and provide support for their career development and advancement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in digital media and marketing tools.
