Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at RAMA SWEETS AND RESTAURANT LTD DBA MASALA JUNCTION INDIAN RESTAURANT.

Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to order, including heating and finishing simple food items.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Inventory Management: Restock supplies, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
Work Environment:

The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
