Job Title: Merchandiser

SUNFOOD MARKET is seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for arranging products according to planograms, establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to outlets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal store displays
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets to ensure timely delivery
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, considering factors such as quality, price, and market trends
  • Supervise the work of other buyers to ensure efficient and effective merchandise management
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on the latest products and trends
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Panjabi language proficiency
  • Urban area experience
  • Retail business knowledge
