Job Title: Product Merchandiser

We are seeking a skilled Product Merchandiser to join our team at SUNFOOD MARKET. As a Product Merchandiser, you will be responsible for arranging products according to planograms, establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to outlets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal store displays and customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, considering factors such as quality, price, and market trends.
  • Supervise the work of other buyers to ensure efficient and effective merchandise management.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on the latest products and trends.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, buying, or merchandise management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.
