About the Role

Dream Unlimited Corp is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architecture Specialist to join our Transformation & Technology team. This pivotal role will significantly influence and direct our long-term technology strategies and architectural decisions regarding major systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in JD Edwards implementations and upgrades, along with integrated technologies.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading a technical team dedicated to executing IT strategies and organizational goals, ensuring collaborative achievement of delivery targets.
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations for Dream's technology roadmap, highlighting emerging disruptive technologies and external factors.
  • Collaborating closely with Business Analysts to review specifications and offer constructive feedback on design solutions within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Establishing architectural policies and standards that guide IT and business units in making informed technology decisions.
  • Working in partnership with IT teams (PMO, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, ERP Helpdesk) to ensure alignment and operational transitions on business and technology initiatives.
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Implementing lean agile methodologies across all IT projects.
  • Taking a leading role in managing and evaluating third-party resources' performance.
  • Assisting with the daily operations and functionality of applications within the production support area, troubleshooting production issues and errors.
  • Fostering and maintaining positive, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from senior management to operational staff.

The Senior Enterprise Architecture Specialist will have a comprehensive view of the entire portfolio of applications utilized by Dream Unlimited Corp and will play a crucial role in defining the integration of our corporate data to achieve a unified perspective. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in consolidating data into an Enterprise Data Warehouse with Business Intelligence Reporting capabilities, enabling the business to leverage its financial and operational data for informed decision-making.

Required Knowledge and Experience

Experience: A minimum of 10 years in technology roles.

Essential Knowledge in the Following Areas:

  • 5 years of JD Edwards system administration with a focus on the underlying architectural framework (CNC).
  • 5 years of experience as an architect developing solutions for business initiatives using Microsoft stack technologies.
  • Expertise in creating solutions that integrate into a JD Edwards E1 backbone from diverse data sources.
  • In-depth understanding of infrastructure components, virtualization technologies, middleware, and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS solutions.
  • Strong grasp of data management principles, including governance, privacy, and analytics.
  • Championing organizational change through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies from concept to implementation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and logical manner.

Preferred Experience Includes:

  • Familiarity with cloud technology foundations for E1 (Microsoft Azure).
  • Development experience in E1 9.x.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., Boomi or similar).
  • Experience with real-time integrations with enterprise-grade, third-party cloud applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL and Data Warehousing.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence Solutions.
  • Experience with commonly used applications in the Construction and Real Estate sectors (e.g., Hyphen, VTS, VersaPay, Argus, Angus, Coupa).
  • Knowledge of GoAnywhere, ReportsNow, Microsoft Power BI, UiPath, and Yardi.
  • Working knowledge of any JD Edwards E1 modules (e.g., Finance, Job Cost, etc.).
