Bakery Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our team at Cobs Bread. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with daily bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with purchases, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by sweeping, mopping floors, and performing other general cleaning duties.
  • Bakery Operations: Assist with daily bakery operations, including unpacking products, counting and weighing items, and recording incoming stock.
  • Task Management: Manage tasks efficiently, including bagging and boxing purchases for customers, carrying purchases to parking lots, and performing other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
