About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, including sales, procurement, and distribution agreements.
  • Negotiating with key partners, customers, and suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Providing advice and counsel to business partners and management on commercial law, regulatory compliance, and contract management.
  • Developing and implementing effective contract management processes to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and minimize risk.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably in a healthcare or technology company.
  • LL.B./JD, called to the Bar in the Province of Ontario, and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.
