Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychotherapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As an integral member, you will perform psychosocial assessments, provide group and individual psychotherapy, and implement evidence-based treatment plans. Your expertise will promote the return to activities of daily living and support clients with disabilities/injuries resulting from workplace or auto-related accidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide group and individual psychotherapy sessions to support clients with various mental health conditions, including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and addictions.
  • Implement and monitor treatment plans, modifying as necessary, and collaborate with the program psychologist as required.
  • Prepare and deliver educational sessions within the cognitive behavioral model framework.
  • Complete required documentation in a timely manner and participate in research, continuing education, and quality/administrative/marketing activities.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Health or Social Sciences preferred or a Bachelor's degree with five or more years of practical experience.
  • Member in good standing of a regulated health professions College.
  • Additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and seven years of practical experience preferred or a minimum of five years of experience with supervision/mentorship.
  • Post-professional training in group facilitation and group/individual counseling required.
