Primary Care Physician Opportunity in Northwest Calgary

We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join our team at the Thorncliffe Family Clinic in northwest Calgary. This is a full-time position that requires working a minimum of five days a week, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays, with no on-call requirement.
The successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively within the Foothills Primary Care Network and participate in the Patient's Medical Home model. In this role, physicians will cross-cover each other's patients during vacation time, ensuring seamless care for our patients.
Our community faces a significant shortage of physicians, making it an ideal opportunity for a physician to build a patient panel quickly. We prioritize Canadian citizens and permanent residents for this position.
Qualifications- Registration or eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
- Recent experience in family medicine
- Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Able to collaborate effectively in a team setting
- Participate and contribute to quality improvement activities
This role offers a competitive salary range, estimated to be between $200,000 - $300,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. The clinic also provides additional benefits, including:

The Thorncliffe Family Clinic is conveniently located on Fourth Street NW, providing easy access to public transportation and amenities. Approximately half of our patients are under the care of the Mosaic Primary Care Network in the NE, while the others fall under the Foothills PCN in the NW.
