We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at our Parksville, BC location. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving written prescriptions and refill requests, and accurately inputting patient and prescription information into our computer system.
  • Performing tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, as well as conducting expiry date checks and inventory corrections.
  • Communicating effectively with pharmacists and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Providing excellent customer service and adhering to our company's operational procedures and policies.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years of dispensary experience.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Kroll computer experience is an asset.
