Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Home Hardware. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing estimates, reading blueprints, and measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Prepare tenders and quotations for clients
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites
- Instruct and supervise apprentices and other workers
- Estimate costs and materials for projects
- Operate computer-aided design (CADD) and other software systems
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1-2 years of experience in the trade
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
