Job Description:

As a key member of the Global Brand & Customer Insights department, you will contribute to the overall success of the Scotiabank Group of Companies across Canadian and international mandates. Your primary goal will be to ensure specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
• Develop and execute all aspects of market research for stakeholders across the Scotiabank Group of Companies, including designing end-to-end research projects, delivering research projects, and identifying and managing vendor relationships.
• Direct and deliver research strategy & insights through establishing a cohesive network of relationships with vendors, providing direction in the use of market research analytical techniques, and coordinating, analyzing, and presenting market research data.
• Provide relationship management support for various business lines across the organization by fostering trust with internal stakeholders, delivering insights in a consultative way, and championing a high-performance environment.

Requirements:

• Completed an undergraduate university degree or college in a relevant field, such as commerce, mathematics, or computer science.
• Advanced level of experience in market research (8 or more years), preferably on the vendor or client-side.
• Thorough understanding of the end-to-end process of a quantitative and qualitative market research.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate and communicate business requirements into technical research project specifications.
• Extensive working knowledge of multi-variant statistical techniques, with a proven ability to work within cross-functional teams.
• Superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
