Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at DEV WELLNESS & REHAB CLINIC. The successful candidate will assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, and record results.
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend type of hearing instrument, take earmold impressions, and perform follow-up examinations and readjustments.
  • Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history.
  • Order supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks and repetitive work.
