Junior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Financial Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting our business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Financial Planning: Collaborate with functional leaders to create long-range plans and short-range forecasts, understanding key drivers and supporting Sales, Professional Services, and Controllership organizations.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide monthly and quarterly financial closing and estimates, communicating current financial results and estimates to functional leaders.
  • Financial Operations: Identify risks and opportunities, working with functional leads to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Financial Systems: Develop and maintain financial systems and applications, including SAP, OLAP, and Excel.
Requirements:
  • Education: College graduate of any finance-related courses.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, familiarity with general accounting and corporate finance principles, ability to obtain key financial information from sales contracts, and proficiency in Excel skills.
  • Experience: Proven capability in financial and accounting procedures, such as budgets and P&L statements, and experience with financial systems and applications.
What We Offer:
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: Work from our office in Richmond Hill or remotely.
  • Contract Length: 11-month contract to start.
