Job Description:Responsibilities:
  • Assist with hand harvesting vegetables, including ginseng and strawberries
  • Weed and maintain crop fields
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors and forklifts
  • Transport crops and equipment as needed
Work Environment:
  • Work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Exposure to wet, dusty, and hot conditions
  • Physically demanding work requiring standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent not required, but an asset
  • Experience in farming or a related field an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including overtime
