Marshall Canada is seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to work in our Moncton facility. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying body fillers, sanding, preparing, masking, taping, and applying surface coatings to deployable shelters and associated components.
Key Responsibilities- Prime and paint shelters and component parts, including necessary prep work such as applying body filler, masking, taping, sanding, and blasting when necessary.
- Mix primer and paint by weight, blend and match paint colors, and paint in accordance with paint manufacture's specifications.
- Prepare parts and shelters to time, cost, and quality standards.
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Work in accordance with Paint shop procedures, including housekeeping and good working practices.
- May be required to work shifts and overtime due to projected manufacturing demands.
- Proven experience in a professional paint spraying role.
- Commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Able to work well within a team and follow training with minimal supervision.
- Red Seal Industrial Painter certification is an asset.
- Autobody Painter certification or equivalent experience in an automotive painter occupation.
- Military Occupational Structure Identification – 00134 Material Technicians are encouraged to apply.
- Two years of prior experience in prep and painting is preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow processes and instructions.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with other stakeholders.
