About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Maintenance Specialist to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems within the hotel.

As an Operations Maintenance Specialist, your primary focus will be on taking complete care and maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the hotel, including high and low-pressure boilers, guest rooms, and equipment related to engineering. This will involve attending to all guest issues in 340 guest rooms, supporting Rooms Maintenance personnel in project works in guest rooms, and taking temperature readings of all supply air units, concourse tenant spaces, meeting rooms, restaurants, guest rooms, converters, walk-in freezers, and refrigerators.

You will also be responsible for completing walkthroughs in all areas of the hotel to visually inspect, repair, and/or report deficiencies, as well as maintaining all other engineering equipment such as Chiller/Cooling equipment, Boilers, Guarded Status, and the Pool.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Provincial 5th class power engineering ticket from the Department of Labour and at least 2 years of experience in a 4th class power plant which includes a high-pressure boiler. A working knowledge of a Centrifugal chiller is an asset, and you must be willing to learn.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience. As a full-time employee, you will also receive a range of benefits, including comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
