About the Role

Chip Cleaning Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
    • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy environment.
    • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a clean and safe environment.
    • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and tidy environment.
    Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
    • Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.
    Support for Youths
    • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth to help them develop new skills and gain work experience.
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth to help them succeed in their careers.
    Support for Indigenous People
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers to help them succeed in their careers.
