Job Summary:
The Night Supervisor is a key member of our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited, responsible for overseeing the night shift operations at our Food Store. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with staff to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct night shift staff to ensure efficient and effective operations, including merchandising, stocking, customer service, and housekeeping.
- Oversee warehousing protocols and inventory management to ensure accurate and timely restocking of shelves.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Collaborate with the Grocery Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, and that staff are aware of and adhere to these policies.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- 1-2 years' experience in a retail and/or customer service environment in a supervisory position.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff.
- Ability to lift 50lbs or greater.
