We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Royal King Logistics Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across international routes, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation Management: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Logistics Coordination: Load and unload goods, obtain special permits and documents required for international routes, and oversee the condition of the vehicle.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and securing loads.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Will train
- Language: English or French
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week
