Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Lead to join our team. As a Senior Technical Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will plan and ensure optimum use of shared resources, administer and monitor use against budget.

You will direct the compilation of required data, including budget, time constraints, contracts & technical data. Develop detailed schedules for major or complex projects, detailing all activities required for successful completion. Be accountable for and mitigating risk factors to successful completion of major or complex projects.

A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience is required. Proven technical project/program management and software development experience (C/C++/Java) ideally gained within the automotive or embedded software/RTOS domains is preferred. Experience with software implementation project management, planning and deployments in an AGILE environment is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Plan and ensure optimum use of shared resources
  • Administer and monitor use against budget
  • Direct the compilation of required data
  • Develop detailed schedules for major or complex projects
  • Be accountable for and mitigating risk factors
  • Arrange the distribution of work packages to the responsible function within the company and/or external contractors ensuring awareness of and commitment to project requirements
  • Write or contribute to the writing of new contracts for external contractors is an asset
  • Monitor progress throughout the project cycle, ensuring cost and time constraints are met and acting to ensure problem resolution, as necessary
  • Collaborate with software developers, group leaders, contractors and others outside the company to obtain or provide program, technical and progress data
  • Partner with most internal departments including Finance, Marketing and Sales
