Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
- Ensure Resident Safety and Well-being: Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the safe and effective management of medications and supplies, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent, and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Skills and Experience: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, basic computer proficiency, and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Personal Qualities: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
