Job Title: PT Contract Position

We are seeking a qualified individual to fill a part-time contract position at the YMCA of Three Rivers. This role will involve working with children and youth in a day camp setting, providing a safe and engaging environment for participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times
  • Deliver fun and engaging activities that promote socialization and skill-building
  • Build positive relationships with campers and colleagues
  • Respond to camper needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Attend staff trainings and meetings, and actively participate in team development
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and youth
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to use good judgment and problem-solve
  • Professional conduct and a commitment to working in a socially inclusive environment
  • Up-to-date Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification and a successful Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months
