Job Title: PT Contract Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified individual to fill a part-time contract position at the YMCA of Three Rivers. This role will involve working with children and youth in a day camp setting, fostering positive relationships, teaching new skills, and encouraging a connection with nature.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
  • Deliver engaging and fun activities as per program plans.
  • Participate in all camp programs with camper groups, including recreational swimming.
  • Build positive relationships with campers, serving as a role model.
  • Respond to camper needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Provide exceptional attention to Health & Safety.
  • Attend staff trainings and meetings, arriving on time and actively participating.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and youth.
  • Commitment to working in a socially inclusive environment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to use good judgment and problem-solve.
  • Strong professional conduct.
  • Up-to-date Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification.
  • Successful completion of Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months.
