Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at SUPREME ROOFING & SHEET METAL LTD. The ideal candidate will have experience installing and replacing various types of roofing materials, including asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install or replace roofing materials on sloped roofs of buildings
  • Supervise other workers and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces
  • Estimate costs and materials for roofing projects
  • Set up machines and equipment for roofing tasks
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Prepare production and other reports
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and outdoors
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Reliability and a team player attitude
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including commercial, residential, and construction sites. They will be required to work at heights, in noisy environments, and outdoors.
