About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at SUPREME ROOFING & SHEET METAL LTD. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and replacing roofing materials, supervising other workers, and ensuring the safety of our team and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Roofing Installation and Repair: Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other workers and ensure they have the necessary training and equipment to perform their tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our team and clients are protected from harm.
  • Project Management: Estimate costs and materials, set up machines and equipment, and coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communication: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, and prepare production and other reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and outdoors.
  • Work Setting: Ability to work in various locations, including commercial, residential, and construction sites.
