Nurse Practitioner

The Clinical Specialist:
•Provides high-quality patient care to individuals with complex health needs, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
•Enhances the quality of life for patients and their families, consulting and collaborating with other healthcare providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
•Demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement in nursing care, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research.
•Maintains and advances their own clinical competence, participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
•Contributes to the development of hospital policies and procedures, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as assigned.
This is a casual opportunity, meaning hours are not guaranteed and may vary, with shifts scheduled at short notice. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.
Shifts of work will be scheduled during the day, from 08:15 to 15:45, and 06:45 to 14:15 hours.

Mt. Cartier Court, located in Revelstoke, offers long-term living for individuals with complex health needs. Our mission is to provide the highest quality care services, quality of life, and respect each individual's preferences. We offer a range of services provided by caring professionals in a home-like environment, with a complement of health professionals including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, dietitians, and diabetes educators, as well as excellent physician support. Nursing staff is on duty 24/7. We have 44 private rooms over three distinct wings, each with a warmly decorated living room, large televisions, and pianos. The decorations throughout the cottages change with each holiday and new season. Our building is relatively new and well-maintained, having opened its doors to the community in 2006.
