Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse with Interior Health Authority, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families. This is a casual opportunity, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary. Shifts may be scheduled at short notice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients, both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Enhance quality of life for patients and their families through consultation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Maintain and advance clinical competence through ongoing education and training
- Participate in designated hospital committees and approved research projects as assigned
About this Location/Unit:
Mt. Cartier Court, located in Revelstoke, offers long-term living for individuals with complex health needs. Our mission is to provide exceptional care services, quality of life, and respect for each individual's preferences. We offer a range of services provided by caring professionals in a home-like environment.
Our Team:
We have a complement of health professionals, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, dietitians, diabetes educators, and excellent physician support. Nursing staff is on duty 24/7. We have 44 private rooms in three distinct wings, each with a warmly decorated living room, large televisions, and pianos. Our building is relatively new and well-maintained.
