Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at the Seabee Gold Operation. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for developing and communicating maintenance plans to the maintenance team. You will interact with maintenance execution teams and supervisors to ensure targeted work output and performance is achieved and maintained.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for mobile maintenance activities.
  2. Provide analysis and interpretation of maintenance trends and variances.
  3. Monitor stock inventory levels and non-stock orders to ensure proper site levels.
  4. Provide weekly or bi-weekly reports for designated areas.
  5. Update job packages.
  6. Job scope upcoming work to build work orders.
  7. Participate in or lead maintenance meetings.
  8. Issue work orders in accordance with production requirements and resource availability.
  9. Plan, organize, and implement effective maintenance policies and procedures within the maintenance department.
  10. Ensure coordination between mine operations and maintenance crews.
  11. Interpret mid to long-term plans and translate to a day-to-day maintenance schedule to meet those plans.
  12. Establish equipment criticality and technical status for assigned tasks.
  13. Monitor and track the equipment component oil analysis program.
  14. Monitor and track major component changes, wear items, service hour variance, equipment utilization, and damages.
  15. Upkeep of equipment repair and maintenance history records.
  16. Track and communicate equipment purchases, rentals, returns, and transfers.
  17. Ensure all equipment has proper inspections, registrations, and additional requirements are satisfied as per SSR Mining policies and government regulations.
  18. Assist in the development and implementation of strategies and tools used to resolve issues arising from the dynamics of an expanding equipment fleet.
  19. Monitor all warranty programs to ensure warranty work is claimed in a timely manner and all warranty issues are resolved.

Your Knowledge and Skills:

  1. High degree of knowledge of underground and surface mining mobile equipment and processing equipment maintenance.
  2. Working knowledge of principles of maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  3. Strong computer literacy, including intermediate-level Microsoft Office.
  4. Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration among all employees.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to take initiative in a results-oriented environment.
  7. Ability to prioritize both long- and short-term maintenance planning.
  8. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving.
  9. CMMS software experience: preference in SAP.

About Our Working Conditions:

This position has a schedule of Monday to Thursday at our remote camp, which you will be required to fly in and out of. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering results.
