Senior HCM Application Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HCM Application Specialist to lead the full lifecycle of HCM (Oracle) applications and practices. This role requires close collaboration with end users and stakeholders to identify and document problems, and design solutions that deliver value and align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-to-end business systems analysis, collaborating closely with stakeholders to assess business requirements and objectives.
  • Configure and build Oracle modules and applications, ensuring solutions align with technology and business strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business, fostering strong relationships and understanding evolving needs and challenges.
  • Oversee technical solutions throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring deliverables meet stakeholder technology requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions for stakeholders to facilitate smooth adoption and utilization of new Oracle applications or changes.
  • Identify and keep current with Oracle/HCM best practices and emerging trends, documenting and making recommendations for adoption.
  • Lead teams to ensure alignment with specific business requirements and best practices, applying facilitation, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Liaise with Centres of Expertise as needed to follow risk, compliance, and data governance frameworks and risk management practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6 years of related experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years experience in configuring and/or managing HCM modules for a variety of organizations.
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and associated tools.
  • Experience in HCM build and operations, large system implementation, and leading a portion of a complex project.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage and prioritize, multi-task, and work well in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, guide, and adapt while fostering a cohesive team environment.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion HCM, ERP, and cloud-based applications and related data management modules.

Pay Transparency: Salary Range: $87,280 - $111,800. First West is committed to providing a fair, equitable, and competitive rewards package that reflects the value an individual brings to our organization.
