Job Title: Software Testing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Specialist to join our team at JAI IT SOLUTIONS INC.

Job Summary:

The Software Testing Specialist will be responsible for developing and documenting software testing plans, installing software and hardware, and configuring operating system software in preparation for testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development and testing principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document software testing plans and procedures
  • Install and configure software and hardware for testing purposes
  • Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests
  • Develop and implement software and information system testing policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Work Setting: Research and development institution
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Networking software, Networking security, Intranet, Internet, Servers, Desktop applications, Security software, Multimedia software, Presentation software, Communication software, Image editing software, Web service design, Database software, Programming languages, Software development, Data analysis software, MS Office, MS Windows, Spreadsheet
  • Personal Suitability: Initiative, Organized, Team player
