Job Title: Software Testing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Specialist to join our team at JAI IT SOLUTIONS INC.

Job Summary:

The Software Testing Specialist will be responsible for developing and documenting software testing plans, installing software and hardware, and configuring operating system software in preparation for testing. The successful candidate will also execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document software testing plans
  • Install software and hardware and configure operating system software in preparation for testing
  • Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests
  • Develop and implement software and information system testing policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Work setting: Research and development institution
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Networking software, Networking security, Intranet, Internet, Servers, Desktop applications, Security software, Multimedia software, Presentation software, Communication software, Image editing software, Web service design, Database software, Programming languages, Software development, Data analysis software, MS Office, MS Windows, Spreadsheet
  • Personal suitability: Initiative, Organized, Team player
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience an asset
