Job Title: Teaching Assistant, Plant Sciences

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Plant Sciences.

Responsibilities:

  • Grading assignments and providing feedback to students
  • Assisting the instructor with course preparation and delivery
  • Leading discussions and facilitating group work
  • Developing and implementing assessment tools

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a degree or equivalent in Biological Sciences
  • Teaching experience and knowledge of plant ecology
  • Knowledge of rangeland ecology and management an asset
  • Registered in a graduate program

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a team of faculty and staff. The position is flexible, and the candidate will report to Dr. Jon Bennett.

Duration of Employment: 20 hours during the academic term
