Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Humpty's Big Plate Diner, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as ongoing support and development.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the right stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing any complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that we have the right staff in place to meet customer demand.
