Job Summary

Emtec is seeking a highly skilled Integration Specialist to join our team. As an Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing BMC-ITSM projects and ensuring seamless data integration across various systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop data integration objects and data processing flows using current tools and software.
  • Act as the technical lead for initiatives that involve data translation or integration development.
  • Resolve highly complex technical data communication and transformation issues.
  • Design, test, and implement data translation objects (maps).
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to data transformation and flow.
  • Analyze customer system and data specifications and provide gap analysis.
  • Create documentation for future reference, training, and support purposes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as an Integration Specialist implementing BMC-ITSM projects or 5+ years ITSM project integration experience and the willingness/ability to complete BMC certification within a 6-week period.
  • Proven functional skills working on a variety of full life-cycle ITSM projects.
  • Understanding of ITSM technology, including but not limited to:
    • ITSM applications, administration, and development.
    • ITSM Server administration, development, and tuning.
    • Integrating multiple products together in an enterprise architecture.
  • University degree or College diploma.
  • Ability/willingness to eventually work onsite at clients in Ottawa, ON Canada.

Preferred Skills

  • ITIL v3 or ITIL mastery highly desirable.
  • Valid Government of Canada security clearance.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and insight with the ability to dissolve crisis situations with clients.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable in front of a technical or managerial audience.
  • Ability to lead a workshop or small-scale training course.
  • Excellent written communication ability.
  • Strong analytical and overall technical skills.
